What is the difference between the current data here and data produced elsewhere?

The preliminary data here is reported within the hour from our continous monitoring stations. In addition:

- This data is sent to Alberta Environment for hourly calculations of the Air Quality Index.

- This data is later validated and archived at the Clean Air Strategic Alliance Data Warehouse, to be used by Environment Canada, Alberta Environment and other researchers.

- Annual data averages and summaries are developed for reports to the community and technical reports to Alberta Environment.
